From across the room (more that 3 or 4 feet) these look fabulous. I used a little putty in the bottom of each so that they would stand straight in my candle holders. I had to do that with all of my candles before so no big deal. I really like how they flicker and the remote makes turning them all off and on super easy. Up close they are obviously plastic which is why gave them 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend them.I love these lights but you have to unscrew them if you’re not using them because the batteries were out before you can use them so my advice is to unscrew them after you use themVery nice. Remote is helpful. You can set timer and adjust dimness. Good for holy days.Loved them works great perfect for what i needed
