I love the 5 hour timer on these candles. Set it and it comes on and goes off the same time every day. The batteries last a long time. I thought the flame thing looked funny when I got them but after turning them on, it really looks real. Better than the flicker candles. I will only purchase this kind from now one. I have candles that turn on every evening now. I love the look of them.This LED tea candle is the best I found. But it needs a small but important improvement. The candles kept going off and on in the candelabra. Even touching one made it go off or on. What I did was take a piece of folded cloth tape and put it on top of the battery before closing the cap. This pushes the battery down so it is fully on the contact. Just like that, they all operate reliably. I suggest that the manufacturer include a disk of foam that sits on the battery.I love the timer ability. It makes for a beautiful night light. They could be a little brighter. I don't use the remote & I had to review it so I erred in the middle of star rating. So far very happy with the purchase.Two to three of the tealights stopped working after one weekWish I could get my money back, bought these candles because they advertised they had a 6 hr timer in them. Gave the candles to 5 different people as a gift. 4 of the timers never shut off, in essence the timer doesn’t work in 4 out of the 6 candles. As with all flameless candles, if you leave the candles in the "on" position and use the remote to control them, you are going to go through batteries VERY QUICKLY even if you don't use the candles often!! But what intrigued me most about these adorable candles is the fact that they are smaller (2" x 3") and operated by coin cell batteries, yet they still have a remote with dimmer and timer functions! Fantastic!The candles and remote arrived well packaged with all necessary cr2450 batteries included and installed in the candles, as well as the necessary battery in the remote control. The typical plastic pull tabs were in place to protect the batteries during shipment.Upon inspection, all of the candles look good! The wicks are black, topped with a white cone-shaped flame, which looks very full and natural when "lit!" The included remote can adjust the brightness level of the flame, and it can switch modes between "candle" (flickers) and "light" (static)!In order to use the remote to control the candles, the candles must first be switched to the "on" position, which is located on the bottom of each candle.I've seen the price for this 6-pack of candles vary between $22.99 and $24.99, both of which are a fair price.The candles are made in China.As an added personal bonus, the included remote control is identical in looks and function to other remotes I have for different brands of candles and as it turns out, they are interchangeable! The included remote for the Girimax 6 Pack Ivory Flameless Votive Candles operates previously owned candles, and the identical remotes for those previously owned candles operate the Girimax candles! Perhaps you'll have the same experience!Overall, the Girimax 6 Pack Ivory Flameless Votive Candles are very nice and I'm happy with them! Okay, yes, I can easily see that they are artificial, especially when not on, but the same is true for most of the battery-operated candles out there, including ones I own. Still, I much prefer odorless (these are) and battery-operated candles over real-flame ones, and despite where they are made, the Girimax 6 Pack Ivory Flameless Votive Candles are winners in my book.Bottomline, I will purchase other candles from this brand and I'm happy to recommend them to others!5 stars!☆☆Updated review October 10, 2022. The candles don't get used on a daily basis, but batteries did not last long at all! Not necessarily a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind!
