I haven’t tried the suction cups but the candles are pretty and work well ‼️Love how they work. All except one:(I finally got tired of extension cords and dealing with electric candles. I actually grew tired of them years ago and since hadn't been using window candles around the holiday's although I always liked the look of the glow. So, I decided to give these a try and I'm so glad I did. Easy to set up. Suction cups work great and have not lost suction since placing candles. Some of the candles that are more in view from inside the house, I've placed in taper candle holders and they work great that way too. The lights are sufficiently bright and create that warm glow inside the house and are easily visible from outside the house from the street.Had 2 sets of 6 candles that we could program at one time. Laid them out on a table and with the remote was able to turn them all on, set the timer, brightness, and flicker function at one time. Then placed the lit candles on the various windows using the suction cups. So easy and every one came on each night for the set time. We have a couple windows in the garage that don't have a sill, so the suction cup feature was a real plus. Much easier to use than what we've tried in the past -- electric or battery!Easy to use and look great from indoors or outside. You need to make sure when you set the timer, that the light flickers once after you turn it on, before you select the lighting duration (4,6,8 hours). If you don't, the candle will stay on till you turn it off.Easy to redo if you fail to set it right or want to change the duration. Just turn off and then turn on again followed by the new duration you want. We had to learn this thru trial and error.I put these candles inside wreaths in my window. I received so many compliments. Many people said it reminded them of years gone by which is why I did it. My mom always had lighted wreaths in our windows. She would have been proud. Love the timer I set all 6 at once and they came on and off at the same time every night for over a month.Beautiful addition to my holiday decoratingWe already had single white candles in the bedroom windows, so we decided to add some to each pane in the garage door. The suction cups would have been okay for a static setting, but the garage door opens and closes so we added Velcro discs so the candles stay in place. We love the holiday look for our tiny little home.
