Great new addition to fall decor! They burn beautifullyBeeswax usually has no scent and these candies had a very unpleasant scent. They are rolled sheets of wax so the inside is almost hollow and makes for a very messy drip. Would not use these againThe point of beeswax candles is that they don't drip. These drip.No point in buying them. The candles are beautiful however, they sent me the wrong colors which I specifically needed. Also I don’t like that they’re so expensive & I purchased 3 big boxes & was not offered any discount as most sellers doI received these as a Christmas gift and I'm wondering if they are truly 100% beeswax. Other real beeswax candles I've had smell almost like honey, but these do not. They burn very quickly, which is possibly due to the construction of the candle (thin, rolled up sheet of wax).[Why these candles]These candles were selected mainly for the aesthetics and the honeycomb pattern. The fact that they are beeswax is a big plus (longer burn time, cleaner burn, less chemicals)[Quality]– Constructed with “holes”These candles seem like they are formed by rolling up a wick inside several layers of a sheet of honeycomb pressed wax. (Think of rolled up bubble wrap and you’ll get the idea.) That means that it isn’t solid so they are light. In addition they can bend more easily . Melted wax will collect inside the hollow spaces and in our case when we first lit the candle some wax did seep out through a melted hole and did drip onto our candlestick holder. Once the candle got “going” this was not an issue however. Overall they look nice and meet our expectations.[The Wick]The wick tip is not well pre-waxed and “burned up” on initial lighting. You may have to want to melt a little extra wax with the lighter and dip the wick into it to start a new candle[Deformations due to Heat / Delivery handling?] – Easily repairedThere was some very slight deformation on our candles. We assume was it was caused during delivery by the heat in our area.(95+ deg. F) this damage could also be caused by pressure on the package or even dropping the package. Mainly the candles were slightly bent but also seemed to have a “flatter side” We were able to bend them back into shape with out much difficulty and they look fine now.[Things to know]The bottom end of the candle is not tapered. You will more than likely need to shave a bit off to fit in a candlestick holder[Burn]We burned a candle for 1 hour exactly and you can see the rate it used the candle.[Verdict]This is a good product. The candles look nice, burn well no soot and have a long burn.Maybe I'm just not well-versed in beeswax candles, but these things smelled a little off. That being said, they last for way longer than cheap regular tapered candles. The honeycomb design is also pretty cool. They're a bit pricey but I understand that beeswax candles are typically more expensive than regular soy candles. I like the variation in color that this company offers, but if it's possible, it might be nice to have some options with smooth sides instead of the honeycomb look.
